About the role

We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Security Manager to lead the security operations in Canada. This position is based in Toronto, Canada (relocation options), and with a minimum three-year commitment.

As a Senior Security Manager, you will be responsible for the management, planning, and implementation of all corporate security systems, with a strong emphasis on executive protection and journey-management within a dynamic business environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive security policies and strategies.
  • Managing the local and global security teams.
  • Conducting risk assessments and creating action plans for mitigation.
  • Providing personal close protection for executives while maintaining a high level of security and discretion.
  • Working closely with business and legal departments within the organization.
  • Writing and presenting professional reports and documents to senior management.
  • Working directly with clients to ensure their security needs are met and to build strong, lasting relationships.
  • Driving business development initiatives to expand the company’s security services and client portfolio.
  • Managing and mentoring employees, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proven experience of at least 5 years as senior security management role, preferably in the private sector or in executive protection.
  • Strong business orientation
  • Extensive corporate experience (As supplier or buyer)
  • Fluent-level English (reading, writing, and speaking)
  • Excellent document writing skills - a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with the corporate world and working in an international environment - advantage.
  • Willingness to relocate to Toronto, Canada.
